Rays Koshy

Rays Koshy is a lawyer by trade but a church musician from a very young age. He has been a Choir trainer in various churches and has been an acclaimed Keyboardist and worship leader. Basic training in Carnatic musician was from Ayyappan Bhagavathar and thereafter from renowned musicians Sri. Chertala Gopalan Nair and Prof. Varkala Jayaram. Joined the Christ Church Mavelikara Choir at the age of 8. Later during his life in Trivandrum he was trained under Sunny Walsalam and Richy Walsalam, great grand children of Music Evangelist Mosawalsalam Sastriyar. He is the founder leader of Christian Music Academy, Trivandrum and served as the Pianist, worship leader and organiser of the Sunset Service in Trivandrum for many years. He also served as the Organist and Choir Master of CSI Christ Church Trivandrum, India for many years and has been resource person for many Choral Music Festivals including the Thampi Paul Memorial Music leaders camp Chennai. Later he moved to the US and has been the pianist and cantor in the St. Marys Episcopal church, Philadelphia and now the Director of Music Ministries in the United Methodist Church, Lansdale, PA.  He serves as the Chief Co-ordinator of Athmavision Media group and the Athmavision Internet Radio. Lives in Philadelphia PA with his wife Maya and kids Zoeh and Koshy. His Dad Prof Koshy Thalakal is a well known preacher and song writer.
